Naz Kawan is a 28 years old social entrepreneur based in Amsterdam; originally from Irak. She co-founded two companies: A Beautiful Mess and Mondmaskerfabriek. A Beautiful Mess is a local textile factory based in the Netherlands and works with tailors with a refugee background. While those companies produce sustainable clothing for brands like Tommy Hilfiger and surgical masks for the medical industry, Naz enjoys being a social entrepreneur. Naz tells us how she not only dreams about a more sustainable world but how she practices what she teaches. Her lifelong passion for self-development, spirituality, and personal growth led her to study Behavioural Sciences and Education in Amsterdam in her early twenties. While working and living in multiple countries she became more and more aware that wisdom was doing the work. She started doing retreats, courses, and workshops all over the world to do true self-inquiry and connect to deeper layers of herself and constantly expand her mindset.
